Welcome to us
The Business Area Competence Supply and Development is part of adult education in the City of Stockholm, with the task of supporting and developing operations within digitalization, competence supply, and school development. Our team consists of 20 engaged employees and two managers who work together to strengthen adult education in the City of Stockholm.
We are now looking for a Coordinator who will be tasked with driving and developing collaboration between adult education and the city's employers within preschool, elderly care, and disability care.

Your role
As a coordinator, you are a key person in the work of meeting the city's competence needs through education within adult education. You create conditions for long-term and sustainable collaboration between the city's schools and employers within preschool, elderly care, and disability care – thereby contributing to a stronger welfare system.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Building relationships, initiating collaborations, and creating structures that enable effective and sustainable results.
- Mapping and analyzing competence needs in dialogue with the city's employers – with a special focus on prioritized professional roles and competencies.
- Initiating, driving, and coordinating collaborations between schools and employers.
- In close collaboration and dialogue with principals, being responsible for documentation, follow-up, and coordination of competence development.
- Gathering, developing, and disseminating results, lessons learned, and good examples from implemented initiatives.
- Carrying out investigative assignments.
- Monitoring how other municipalities, regions, and countries work with competence supply within welfare operations, as well as following changes in legislation and financing models.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant university education, for example in pedagogy, or other education combined with professional experience relevant to the assignment.
- Experience of working within education and/or competence development.
- Experience of coordinating and driving assignments as well as handling administrative processes, contracts, and tenders.
- Experience of working with customers or partners, where you have analyzed needs and turned them into practical solutions.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of working with basic or upper secondary vocational education within municipal adult education.
- Experience of collaboration between schools and employers or industry organizations.
- Experience from working within preschool, elderly care, or disability care.
- Previous managerial experience.
