We are now looking for a Business Controller who wants to help develop our operations in Scandinavia – a new role where you will have the opportunity to create the best conditions together with us. As a Business Controller here, you will have a central and business-close role where you act as a key support in decision-making. You will work closely with the operations and support management and business units with analyses, follow-ups, and forecasts.

ContiTech develops innovative solutions in rubber and plastic technology for the industry. The Scandinavian operations are in an exciting phase of development where the company is building its own structures, processes, and ways of working for the future. This role is perfect for you who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can combine operational work with improvement initiatives and have a say in the direction. You will become part of a small team in Kista, reporting to the Finance & HR Manager. The role comes with significant autonomy and broad contact areas within Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

• Analyze results, deviations, and key figures, and identify improvement measures
• Support managers and the sales organization in calculations, margin analyses, and forecasts
• Participate in monthly and annual closing
• Drive and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare decision support materials, reports, and presentations
• Act as a business partner to operational managers
• Develop and improve financial processes
• Ensure data quality and work with ERP systems

We are looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative in their work approach. You see what needs to be done, identify problems before they arise, and are happy to come up with solution proposals. You enjoy taking responsibility, working independently, and contributing to the development of both working methods and the business.

You have a relevant academic degree in economics, business administration, or equivalent, along with a few years of experience – preferably from a business-close controlling role. Above all, you have a strong business sense and the ability to turn numbers into concrete actions and business value. You are accustomed to working in various systems and have good knowledge of both SAP and Excel. Experience working in an international environment with a matrix organization is a plus.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and communicative, with the ability to adapt financial information to different audiences. You feel confident in both supporting and challenging stakeholders in your role.
