Digitalization and information security are crucial for creating efficient, safe, and sustainable municipal operations. As an Information Security and Digitalization Coordinator, you work to coordinate, develop, and monitor the organization's work within information security and digitalization. You contribute to ensuring that information is handled securely, that legal requirements are met, and that digitalization is used as a tool for operational development and improved service. You have a central coordinating function and work closely with the administration, security coordinators, IT function, managers, and operations. The role involves many contact points and gives you the opportunity to influence the organization's development in both the short and long term.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have various functions where you both develop and coordinate information security work, while simultaneously driving digital development forward.

Develop and coordinate information security work

• Drive and develop systematic information security work and compliance with the Cyber Security Act.
• Coordinate information classification, risk analyses, and follow-ups.
• Be responsible for documentation within the area of operations. Create, implement, and monitor governing documents, guidelines, and routines.
• Support operations and managers in information security matters.
• Plan and conduct training and information campaigns.

Drive digital development

In this role, you are a key person in the operation's digital development and change journey, where you work to:

• Identify and initiate opportunities within AI and digitalization that create concrete operational benefits.
• Actively contribute to strategic digitalization work and the operation's long-term development.
• Coordinate and support development and change initiatives in close collaboration with the operations.
• Participate in the introduction, development, and management of digital services and operational systems.
• Contribute to requirement setting, procurement, and implementation of new digital solutions.
• Support operations in developing modern, efficient, and user-friendly digital working methods.
• Monitor the effects and benefits of digitalization efforts and drive systematic and continuous improvement work.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• have a relevant university degree or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• have experience of working within information security, digitalization, operational development, or related areas.
• have a good understanding of digitalization and how digital tools are used in operations.
• have a good understanding of how operations, processes, information, and technology interact.
• have experience of coordinating, driving, or leading development work.
• are accustomed to expressing yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• have good analytical skills and work in a structured manner.

It is meritorious if you have knowledge of

• Information security standards such as ISO 27001.
• The Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• Publicity and secrecy legislation.
• Information classification, risk management, business continuity planning, and security work.
• Project management or change management.
