As a Quality Engineer (QE) at Preform, you will play a key role in our continued growth journey. You will become our primary link to demanding OEM customers and be responsible for ensuring our product quality meets their strict expectations.

In a smaller company like ours, you avoid heavy hierarchies and bureaucracy. You report directly to the Site Manager and have significant personal autonomy. You move smoothly between technical, strategic problem-solving and the management of digital portals.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Acting as the primary contact person for our automotive customers regarding all quality issues, as well as navigating and updating specific OEM customer portals.
• Independently driving and taking responsibility for production approval processes and quality assurance within the production flow.
• Handling complaint cases and structurally driving problem-solving according to the 8D method.
• Translating customers' specific requirements into our own production and collaborating closely with production technicians and operators on the floor to secure processes.

To succeed in this role, you are a person with strong diplomatic skills and a thick "skin". You maintain your calm and act structured even when the pace is high and customer demands are strict. You are communicative, business-minded, and have the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with both global buyers and internal teams.

Your qualifications:

• Documented experience in quality work within the automotive industry, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Understanding of the quality management system IATF 16949 and the automotive industry's Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
• Strong experience in structured problem-solving through the 8D method and root cause analysis.
• Fluent English in both speech and writing (as our customers are global players).
