ABOUT THE JOB

Dals-Ed Municipality is now seeking a 1st Social Secretary within adult services, financial assistance, and elderly care. This recruitment is due to the current 1st Social Secretary moving to a different role within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES

As the 1st Social Secretary, you will, together with the Unit Manager, be responsible for leading and distributing daily work, as well as providing support and guidance, both individually and in groups. Your duties include ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and is based on up-to-date knowledge, proven experience, and high quality. You are also responsible for methodological guidance and development within the unit's area. You will introduce new employees to practical work, stay updated on legislation, and implement changes. Personal involvement in direct client work may occur if needed. The role also involves preparing cases for and presenting them in the committee and in court.

QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires that you are a social worker or have education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have several years of experience in public administration and extensive knowledge of current legislation. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to assess which tasks should be prioritized. This requires a good ability to structure and organize your own and others' work. You use time efficiently and work systematically. Since the work involves a significant amount of documentation, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well both orally and in writing, and that you have a good ability to document and write various types of reports. You have very good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new operational systems. You have the ability to drive processes forward and have a coaching approach. You have the ability to collaborate and build good relationships. Furthermore, you have the skill to make well-founded decisions and have economic awareness. Previous experience in a leadership role is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have worked in Lifecare, and if you possess knowledge within the different orientations of individual and family care, such as adults, assistance, and children and youth.

In the overall assessment, great importance will be attached to personal qualities and suitability. A B-category driver's license is required.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

  • Permanent employment, probationary period may apply.

  • Daytime hours.
  • Individual and differentiated salary setting applies.
  • Collective agreement: The Main Agreement of the agreement area, along with its General Provisions and appendices, applies.
