About the Organization

The National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individualized compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also implements closed youth care. This is done at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your working life becomes an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work in our organization or what position you hold, you help create life-changing change.

SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården has recently undergone an organizational change, from LVM care (Care of Abusers of Certain Liquor) to LVU care (Youth Welfare Act care), and is now in an exciting phase of development. Currently, the institution consists of four departments, but will expand to more in the coming year. We are working on staff density and will increase our workforce, which is why we are currently looking for more staff for our operations.

SiS Youth Home Gudhemsgården is located outside Falköping.
