About the role
As an IT Technician, you are responsible for delivering stable and efficient support to the entire business of approximately 500 employees. You work in an environment where availability, security, and user experience are crucial, and you handle everything from simple support tickets to very complex issues.
The main focus is on user support, but the role is broad and also includes administration of IT environments as well as project and improvement work for our systems and working methods. You drive cases independently from start to solution and ensure a high level of service.
The IT landscape is a mix of office environment and production environment with cleanrooms where IT equipment interacts with OT equipment. We are Microsoft-intensive and the server environment is a hybrid with on-prem and cloud services. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues within IT, external suppliers, and the business at large.
Your main tasks include, among other things:
- Provide first- and second-line support via a ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, printers, networks, operating systems, and applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings in Active Directory/Entra and Microsoft 365.
- Work with device management via Intune and manage GPOs.
- Document cases and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Participate in IT projects, such as the rollout of hardware and software.
- Be responsible for onboarding new employees, including accounts, equipment, and permissions.
The work covers the entire IT environment, from hardware and software to account management and information security, and takes place on-site in Järfälla.
The team
Our next IT Technician will become part of the IT Department's Service Team, which consists of a small, cohesive team with an IT support technician, an infrastructure technician, and a team leader. There is close collaboration within the team where we support each other and share knowledge.
The work is characterized by open dialogue, lack of hierarchy, and shared responsibility for delivering high quality to the business. You report to the IT Service Manager and work in an environment where collaboration and initiative are central.
We are looking for you with:
- 5 years of experience in IT support and IT infrastructure work.
- Experience with first- and second-line support.
- Good knowledge of IT hardware such as computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Basic understanding of server operations, networks, firewalls, and VPN.
- Experience with Active Directory/Entra, Intune, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
- Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Additionally, we consider it meritorious if you have:
- Experience in information security, e.g., Zero Trust.
- Knowledge in mobile device management (MDM).
To succeed with us, we believe you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and without hierarchy. You are proactive, flexible, and have the ability to prioritize in a daily routine with varying tasks. You thrive in a role with many contact surfaces and have a genuine interest in helping others.
What we offer you:
- Broad and varied work within IT.
- Work close to the business where you get to make a concrete difference every day.
- Opportunities to influence and improve working methods and solutions.
- Close collaboration with engaged and competent colleagues.
- A dynamic workplace where development and expansion are in focus.
