Occupational Therapist 50% Permanent Position – An Exciting and Meaningful Role in Development
Tydal is located one and a half hours from Røros and Trondheim, and one hour from Trondheim Airport Værnes. It is a mountain community with many fantastic opportunities. We have a good school, ongoing kindergarten intake, free after-school care, and free school/kindergarten meals five days a week. The planned move-in date is May 2027, and we look forward to taking into use a modern and high-tech building, specifically designed to provide safe, efficient, and good care services.
The position of occupational therapist is organized within the health and medical services and cooperates closely with doctors, physiotherapists, school nurses/district nurses, addiction and mental health services, special housing, and home care. We value close interprofessional collaboration, and you will have colleagues with high professional competence.
Duties:
- Mapping and adaptation of interventions
- Prescription and provision of assistive devices
- Interprofessional collaboration with other municipal activities
- Participation in responsibility groups and other cooperation groups
- Contact person within the vision and hearing area (vision and hearing ombudsman)
Qualifications:
- Licensure as an occupational therapist (Norwegian authorization)
- Good knowledge of a Scandinavian language, both oral and written
- Good digital competence
- Category B driver's license
- A clean criminal record extract must be presented prior to commencement
- Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability
