Ward 1 is a general medicine ward focusing on stroke and neurology, endocrine diseases, and gastrointestinal conditions. Here, we follow patients through the entire stroke process – from acute interventions with thrombolysis and monitoring to care and early rehabilitation.

The Medicine Clinic and LAH is a specialist internal medicine clinic with two wards, several specialist clinics, and a dialysis unit. Here, lung diseases, diabetes, endocrine diseases, kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, stroke, and blood diseases are diagnosed and treated. We also provide specialist palliative care and advanced home care around the clock for patients with tumor diseases and other chronic conditions requiring extensive medical interventions. Patient involvement, respect for individual privacy, and high patient safety are important ingredients in our operations.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you lead the nursing care and work in close collaboration with nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedics. You contribute to person-centered care where reflection and structured working methods are important parts. Here, you will have the opportunity to deepen your competence and contribute your own ideas to develop our operations and create the best care for our patients.

The ward has 20 care beds, divided into three care teams, as well as two thrombolysis beds for stroke patients in the acute phase.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and want to grow in your profession. Experience is meritorious but not a requirement. You are communicative, take initiative, and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

Most importantly, you are engaged, curious, and want to be part of a workplace in development.
