About Us

Journal and Archive Service is part of Regionservice – Region Sörmland's service organization that supports the region's operations, patients, visitors, and elected officials. We strive to create efficient and purposeful support services through responsiveness, quality, and good service.

Our mandate also includes the regional archive, which covers archive care, provision, and accessibility of both analog and digital archive documents. At our facility, documents from the 18th century up to the present day are stored in our six climate-controlled archive depots.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Archive Assistant, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for mail handling - sorting, registration, and filing
• Work with scanning, archiving, and archive care
• Administer both analog and digital documents

Your Qualifications

Requirements

• Good experience with administrative tasks, working in a structured and systematic manner
• Good computer skills and ability to work in multiple systems
• Very good reading skills and ability to interpret information in patient journals and other documents
• Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Meritorious Qualifications

• Good experience with registration and archive work
• Good knowledge of legislation such as the Patient Data Act (PDL), GDPR, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL)
• Experience working with public documents
• Experience with patient journals and journal systems Cosmic, NCS, and C-archive

The work involves some physical tasks, such as lifting, for which you need to have the prerequisites.

Employment Type

Fixed-term contract (vacation replacement), until 2027-01-01. Start date by agreement. Prior to any employment, the region will conduct a background check which you as an applicant must accept.
