Töreboda and Gullspång have a municipal cooperation regarding the technical operations, which includes Water and Sewerage (VA), Streets/Parks, and Property. The host municipality and employer for the technical operations is Töreboda Municipality. The operations are characterized by community and collaboration, where we work together to support one another.

Your responsibilities

As a team leader, you will become an important part of the team that ensures our water and sewerage facilities function and meet the environmental and safety requirements set. Your work is varied and involves significant personal responsibility and flexibility. The main task is to lead our 5 operational technicians. You ensure that we work efficiently according to modern, digital work methods that benefit a good working environment for the employees involved in the operation of our water and sewage facilities.

You have personnel responsibility for the operational technicians and are their direct manager. The responsibilities also include planning for our long-term needs for optimization and investments in our facilities, as well as responsibility for sampling and reporting to authorities relevant to the operations. You are part of the management group for Streets/VA and Technical Services, contributing to the overall development.

Your location will be in Töreboda and Gullspång.

The Streets/VA unit consists of approximately 30 employees distributed across 4 work groups: Operational Support, Streets/Parks Operations, Civil Engineering, and Water/Sewage Plant.

You are expected to familiarize yourself with the different operational steps so well that you can carry out necessary operational measures, as we are a small organization where everyone is needed. You will also be responsible for reporting and follow-up of the operations based on existing authority requirements. On-call duties are included in the position.

Qualifications

• Since you will lead our employees, we place great importance on your ability to lead others. We want you to have work experience from operations and maintenance within the water and sewerage industry, or alternatively within the process industry. Experience with maintenance programs is a plus.
• A technical education, preferably within automation/electrical engineering or process engineering, is advantageous.
• Good computer skills are a requirement.
• A valid Category B driver's license is a requirement.

Since the work requires some documentation, you need to be confident in your ability to document your work.

As a team leader within technical operations, you can expect a salary between 42,000 - 48,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
