Falkdahl Anläggning is growing and is now looking for an experienced excavator operator who wants to join our team.

We primarily work on small and medium-sized contracts where we are responsible for the entire execution – from excavation and utility work to finished outdoor environments. Our clients are found in both the public and private sectors, and we are proud to work with companies such as Bostäder i Borås, Öckerö Bostäder, Gryning Vård, NCC, and Veidekke.

At our company, the excavator is one of the project's most important tools. Therefore, we are looking for you who not only operate the machine but also plan the work, see the bigger picture, and contribute to the project flowing efficiently from start to finish.

Your responsibilities

The work includes, among other things:

• Excavation and earthworks
• Utility and stormwater works
• Final grading
• Loading and handling of materials
• Working according to drawings, laser, and GPS machine control
• Daily inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment

You plan your work carefully and think several steps ahead. You place materials correctly from the start, work efficiently, and contribute to minimizing unnecessary double work on the job site.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least two years of experience as an excavator operator in earthworks and construction
• Has a machine operator certificate
• Can work independently
• Has good experience reading drawings
• Has experience with laser and preferably GPS machine control
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Speaks and writes Swedish
• Has a high level of safety awareness

You are meticulous about heights, slopes, and measurements. When conditions change, you find solutions without compromising on quality or safety.

Safety is a natural part of your work. You take responsibility for both your own and your colleagues' working environment, keep a constant watch on the people around you, and ensure that the work is carried out safely. You identify risks before they become problems and show consideration for cables, lines, pipes, and other sensitive infrastructure.

You also understand that order and cleanliness are part of the job. Therefore, you keep the job site clean and tidy, care for the machine, and ensure it receives the daily inspection and maintenance required. You take care of the company's vehicles, machines, and equipment as if they were your own.

Since you meet our customers and clients every day, you are pleasant, service-oriented, and represent Falkdahl in a professional manner. This also applies when meeting residents, passersby, and other contractors. You contribute to people getting a good impression of Falkdahl, both through how you work and how you treat others.
