LetsGig AB is looking for a highly experienced Time and Cost Coordinator for a long-term consulting assignment within one of Sweden's largest infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience from the contracting side, including large civil engineering contracts, cost estimation, scheduling, production monitoring, and financial control.
This is a senior full-time position where you will become a central part of the project organization, working closely with both the client organization and the contractor.
About the Assignment
You will work with time and cost coordination in a major civil engineering and infrastructure project. The role involves, among other things, developing, analyzing, quality assuring, and updating schedules and cost estimates, as well as monitoring finances, forecasts, and deliveries.
The work includes, among other things:
- Development and maintenance of schedules and cost estimates
- Analysis and quality assurance of contractors' schedules and estimates
- Work with production budgets, target prices, forecasts, and index management
- Monitoring of ongoing invoicing
- Support in notifications, variation orders (ÄTA), and financial reconciliations
- Identification of critical purchases and strategic dependencies
- Collaboration with project management, client organization, and contractor
- Knowledge transfer to the project organization
Workplace and Scope
The assignment is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
The workplace is in Gothenburg during 2026 and the first half of 2027. From July 1, 2027, the base of operations will move to Trollhättan. Physical presence is required five days a week.
Computer and workspace are provided. The candidate must be able to work on-site and be comfortable in a large project environment with high demands on structure, collaboration, and delivery.
Required Requirements
To be considered, you must meet all the following requirements:
- Swedish B driver's license.
- Degree from a technical university or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- At least five years of experience from contracting companies within civil engineering contracts in a leadership role.
- The leadership experience must concern projects with a project size of at least 100 MSEK and an employment rate of at least 50 percent.
- At least five years of experience from contracting companies with at least 80 percent employment rate, where more than half of the working time has involved bid estimation, production budgeting, estimates for additional work, purchasing, and/or financial monitoring of civil engineering works.
- The above experience must concern infrastructure projects with a contract sum over 200 MSEK.
- Experience in planning work in contracting with a contract sum over 200 MSEK.
- Experience with scheduling software where you have worked with critical path and schedules broken down into multiple levels.
- Experience in developing and continuously analyzing schedules within areas such as production, assembly, purchasing, logistics, or inspections.
- Good knowledge of AMA Anläggning (Swedish construction standards).
- Good knowledge of contract law, specifically AB and ABT (Swedish general conditions of contract).
- Very good Swedish in speech and writing.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week in Gothenburg and later Trollhättan.
Highly Meritorious
It is highly meritorious if you have worked in at least one major collaborative infrastructure project with a contract value over 250 MSEK where ongoing accounting was included as part of the execution.
It is also highly meritorious if you have had a leading role on the contractor or client side in such an assignment with at least 50 percent employment.
We are specifically looking for someone who is analytical, self-initiating, and service-oriented. You must be able to take responsibility for complex issues, structure your own work, see connections in large amounts of information, and drive processes forward without losing sight of the big picture.
Your Profile
You are likely a Cost Manager, Contracting Engineer, Scheduler, Project Engineer, Production Manager, Site Manager, Senior Estimator, or Project Control Specialist with solid experience from large civil engineering projects.
You have worked closely with production, cost, purchasing, finance, and scheduling. You understand how large contracts work in practice and are confident in dialogue with both project management, contractors, clients, and technical specialists.
