Job Responsibilities

As a Production Worker/Loader Operator, you will receive, classify, inspect, and sort incoming materials, which typically consist of paper and plastic. You will handle all materials using wheel loaders or forklifts, and perform routine maintenance, service, and cleaning on these machines. Since drivers and customers visit the branch, you will maintain close communication with them and assist with various inquiries. The role also includes reporting defects and issues in materials, products, or procedures, and always working safely for yourself and your colleagues.

Examples of tasks you will perform:

• Unload, load, and move materials by operating a loader or forklift
• Produce bales of recycled raw materials such as paper and plastic by loading our paper baler
• Routine maintenance of our production equipment, as well as service and cleaning according to established procedures
• Maintain close communication with Stena Logistics Support and drivers visiting the branch
• Administrative tasks included in the role, such as signing freight documents, approving incoming materials via iPad, and some production follow-up
• Proactively participate in occupational health and safety work by conducting safety rounds and reporting near-misses and accidents

Working hours are 07:00–16:00 (sometimes 06:00–15:00). Currently, two dedicated employees work at the branch with tasks similar to yours. This role offers you a great opportunity to take significant responsibility and help drive the branch's production forward.

Qualifications

• Category B driver's license
• Loader operator certification
• Upper secondary education or equivalent
• Good communicative and written skills in Swedish
• Good knowledge of various machines
• Good computer skills
