About the Assignment

We are looking for a full-time Communicator/Communications Strategist for our client in Uppsala for a consulting assignment starting immediately for a duration of 1–3 months. The workplace is located near the travel center in Uppsala, making commuting easy. There is also an option to work remotely part of the time.

To succeed in this role, we see that you are proactive, solution-oriented, and responsible. You work in a structured and meticulous manner and have excellent ability and experience in quickly getting up to speed with new assignments and ways of working. You should be receptive and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Your Responsibilities

The responsibilities include internal and external communication work at both operational and strategic levels. The role also involves planning, executing, and evaluating communication campaigns.

Specific tasks include:

• Advising managers, clients, and colleagues on communication matters.
• Developing messages, news texts, and content for digital channels and social media.
• Designing materials for information and marketing.
• Ordering productions from internal production units and/or procured suppliers.
• Publishing information on external and internal websites.

Your Qualifications

To be considered for the role, the following requirements must be met:

• University degree, for example in media and communication, or equivalent education.
• At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in similar or equivalent roles.
• Experience supporting major projects and change initiatives.
• Strong writing skills with experience in tailoring content for different target groups and channels.
• Knowledge of digital communication, social media, and brand building.
• Good proficiency in MS Office.
• Good proficiency in editing tools (e.g., InDesign and Photoshop) and web publishing tools (e.g., Optimizely/Episerver).

Meritorious

• Experience working with infrastructure projects and/or urban development.
• Experience working in the public sector and/or politically governed operations is meritorious.
• Previous experience working as an hired consultant.
