Unfortunately, one of our skilled assistants is leaving, and we need to strengthen our team. The position is with a cheerful and active man in Eksjö who requires 24/7 assistance. We are looking for you who understand the importance of good collaboration with the client, colleagues, and us as the service provider. Working in this group means your workplace is wherever the client is. We are looking for you who want to become a reliable and valuable assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines and documentation. The daily work consists of supporting the client with things they cannot do themselves. As an assistant, you need to be helpful with basic needs, such as feeding, dressing and undressing, communication, and personal hygiene. The job also includes accompanying the client to various activities, such as day programs, as well as activities the client wishes to do. We offer friendly colleagues and a client who truly appreciates their assistants.

Working with the client gives you a varied and stimulating job, but the role is also responsible, and it is important that routines are followed. The ability to set boundaries is a requirement. We would like assistants here to have a positive and easy-going attitude. A positive and resourceful problem solver who sees solutions instead of problems – that is what we need!

The Assistant's Role and Experience

As a person, you need to be meticulous, responsible, sensitive, proactive, and positive.

You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects regarding the client's care needs and routines. You need to be flexible regarding working hours because we in the work group cover for each other if someone gets sick – we support our client and each other. You should not be allergic to fur-bearing animals as there is a dog in the home.

Desirable Experience

• Experience from work within healthcare/care services.
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of sign language or a desire to learn.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good swimming skills.

Working Hours/Employment Percentage

• Fixed schedule, approx. 30 hours/week.
• One weekend per month.
• Extra shifts as needed during the regular assistant's sick leave and vacation.

Regarding Salary

• We apply salary according to Fremia Collective Agreement.
