About the Skarvik facility
Our facility in Skarvik specializes in the handling of hazardous waste and is an important part of Stena Recycling's operations. Here, we work with the reception, storage, and treatment of hazardous waste, as well as processes such as water purification and regeneration of waste oil. The operations are complex and place high demands on safety, quality, and precision at all levels.
About the role
As a production worker with us, you work with the handling and treatment of hazardous waste. The role is practical and varied, where you work in different parts of the process, such as water purification, oil reception, and solvent handling. Your work is based on the materials that come into the facility, where you are responsible for receiving, identifying, sampling, and classifying materials, as well as determining how they should be handled further. You work both independently and together with your team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

- Handle deliveries and pickups by truck and boat
- Document deviations and work with quality assurance in the process
You will belong to a team of approximately 10 employees working with similar tasks. In total, there are about 25 people at the facility, and you will become part of the entire team at the branch.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00.
Who are you?
You are meticulous and have good analytical skills, while also thriving in an environment where the pace may vary and conditions can change quickly. You have a strong safety mindset and are accustomed to working in operations where the handling of chemicals or processes requires high precision.
As a person, you are a team player who contributes to a positive work environment, while taking responsibility for your tasks and driving your work forward. You are curious, want to develop in your role, and are open to changes and improvements in working methods.
Qualifications
- High school education, preferably in natural sciences/chemistry or similar
- Category B driver's license
- Experience working in industry, process, water purification, laboratory, or other operations involving chemical handling
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Merits:

Here you get the opportunity to develop
With us, you become part of a secure and exciting workplace where safety and care are always in focus. You will join a team of approximately ten people within the bulk operations, who, together with other colleagues at the facility, work closely together and support each other in daily tasks. As part of Stena Recycling, you will have the opportunity to develop within a larger corporation, with good development opportunities and access to training and competence development.
