Do you have an interest and background in the electrical and automation field within the process industry? Are you self-motivated and comfortable taking responsibility? Here, you have the opportunity to combine technical work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and collaboration. Lantmännen Biorefineries in Lidköping is currently building a new facility for producing plant-based protein from peas and beans, and we therefore need to expand our maintenance department. We are now looking for another Maintenance Technician in Electrical & Automation. Here, you will have an important role in the food industry where we together take responsibility from farm to fork!

What you will do

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you strive to work with world-class maintenance by performing preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance on our electrical, automation, and control equipment. You work with frequency converters, various types of sensors, electric motors, switchgear, measurement and analysis equipment, as well as pneumatic equipment. The tasks also include participation in projects.

You will be part of a maintenance team consisting of maintenance engineers, coordinators, planners, and technicians within mechanics and electrical. Together with your team, you strive to minimize unplanned stops to achieve the highest possible availability. You are offered a varied job where you have the opportunity to grow into the role.

The role is located in Lidköping and you report to the Head of Technology and Maintenance. You work day shifts, but since production runs around the clock, scheduled on-call duty is included in the position.

What you need to succeed and thrive

You have:

  • Education as an industrial electrician or automation technician at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of work experience in the field
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting, reading schematics, and industrial automation
  • Good computer skills
  • Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are:

  • A driven person who enjoys solving problems
  • Flexible and self-motivated with good ability to prioritize in your work and tasks
  • A person with good collaboration skills. You thrive working both independently and in a team
