About the role

You will become part of an experienced team of distribution electricians who work closely together in an atmosphere characterized by openness, dialogue, and helpfulness. Together, you are responsible for everything from operation and maintenance, new connections at low and high voltage, to troubleshooting street lighting. The work involves both planned projects and urgent assignments, where your skills and commitment make a real difference for our customers and society.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have a high school education in electricity or power engineering and at least four years of experience in electricity distribution or similar work. Further education as a distribution electrician is meritorious. If you also have a forklift license and/or valid certificates from Hot Work, Work on the Road, and ESA, this is meritorious but not decisive. You express yourself fluently in Swedish, have basic knowledge of English, and hold a B driver's license.

As a person, you are meticulous, secure, and responsible. You enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. You have good problem-solving skills, can see the big picture, and would like to develop further in your profession. You are also a person who is good at planning and preparing, as this is a natural part of the work.

Working hours and on-call duty

Regular working hours are 07:00–16:00 with the possibility of flexible hours. On-call duty is included approximately every fifth week together with district heating technicians and operations managers.

Location and employment

The position is based in Alingsås. We prefer that you live within a commuting distance of approximately 30–40 minutes. The employment is permanent with a start date to be agreed upon.
