As a mechanic at EuroMaint in Åmål, you will have a varied and technically challenging daily routine where you contribute to keeping Sweden's rail-bound work machines in top condition. About the role

Maintenance and service work is performed on rail-bound work machines at the depot in Åmål, and we are now looking for a mechanic with knowledge of electrical systems or automation. As a mechanic, you will have a varied role, working on everything from simple troubleshooting and service within electrical and mechanical systems to vehicle conversions. In this position, you will also perform self-inspections and report deviations such as missed deliveries, risk observations, or operational disruptions.

The work is varied and involves both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in an environment where safety and precision are crucial.

Your profile

We are looking for you with knowledge in electrical systems or automation. You have good mechanical skills and find it easy to read and interpret documentation and regulations. To succeed in the role, you are unpretentious, have good problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset. You are aware that good communication is crucial for creating a functioning collaboration, as this position involves both individual work and group work. Regardless of previous experience in the electrical field, we are looking for someone who is curious and ready to take on new challenges with an open and humble attitude.

The position requires good Swedish skills, both spoken and written, as well as a B driving license.

Merits for the position include knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

Working hours: 07:00 – 15:30 with flexibility options.

Contract type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period
