On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Service Technician for a modern production facility in Gothenburg. We are looking for you who enjoy solving technical problems, working close to production, and contributing to high operational reliability.

About the role

As a Service Technician, you are responsible for ensuring that production runs efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment. The role involves close collaboration with production and other technical functions to minimize downtime and contribute to a safe and stable production environment.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform preventive maintenance according to established maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Address acute operational disruptions and ensure high operational reliability.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Document completed work and contribute to continuous improvements of processes and working methods.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for you who are practical, technically curious, and thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes high. You are a person who takes initiative and sees what needs to be done.

We would like you to have

• Technical education at the upper secondary level, for example in industrial technology, mechanics, or vehicles.
• A few years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably within the industry.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics as well as experience in reading drawings.
• Good computer skills and the ability to document your work digitally.
• A solution-oriented attitude and good ability to collaborate with different departments.
