Vårdcentralen Vä is a branch of Vårdcentralen Åhus. Together, we offer comprehensive primary care throughout all stages of life and create good conditions for collaboration, collegial learning, and competence development. Vårdcentralen Åhus has a long tradition as an educational unit, and as a Specialty Training Doctor (ST-läkare), you will become part of this educational environment, while your main placement is at Vårdcentralen Vä.

Vårdcentralen Vä is a healthcare center located just outside Kristianstad with approximately 5,400 registered patients. Here, standard primary care is provided, including a Child Health Center (BVC), a diabetes clinic, an asthma/COPD clinic, physiotherapy, and blood sampling. It is also home to one of Region Skåne's multimodal pain teams (MMS-team). At the healthcare center, an engaged and cross-professional team works with close cooperation between professions and a shared focus on providing patients with safe, accessible, and person-centered care.

The healthcare center is located close to Kristianstad and has good communication links by both car and public transport.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

As a Specialty Training Doctor (ST-läkare), you are offered stimulating and developing work with good opportunities for broad training within the specialty. Your education is planned individually together with supervisors and the study director to give you the best possible conditions to develop in your professional role.

In the role of ST-läkare, you work with both scheduled and acute patient visits as well as other common tasks within primary care. You will gradually take on increased responsibility based on your competence development and participate in the daily work of the unit together with experienced colleagues. Regular supervision, competence development, and educational initiatives are a natural part of the position.

A permanent position as an ST-läkare may be preceded by a fixed-term appointment as a junior doctor for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST-doctor positions within Primary Care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Regarding formal requirements, you must have completed your Internship (AT) or Basic Training (BT) and be a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare, as well as have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
