We are looking for a secure and engaged personal assistant for a man living in Bagarmossen, south of Stockholm.

We are currently seeking a staff member for a waking night shift. The position involves fixed night shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 21:00 to 08:30. The employment is a parental leave substitute with an employment rate of approximately 86%. The substitute position is planned to last for at least one year.

About the client:

The client has extensive care needs and requires support during the night with personal care and supervision. The work involves turning, manual transfers, and lifting, which means you need to have good physical fitness.

About you:

We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, and possesses personal maturity. You are attentive, responsible, and treat others with respect.

You have previous experience in personal assistance, care, or other work within healthcare and social services, and feel confident in providing professional and respectful support based on the client's needs. You can work independently, are flexible, and have a strong commitment to your work.

Since the work involves turning, manual transfers, and lifting, it is important that you have good physical fitness and feel comfortable with physical care work. Personal suitability is highly valued. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference by providing secure, professional, and caring support throughout the night.

Requirements:

• Good physical fitness.
• Professional experience in personal assistance or work within healthcare and social services.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Non-smoker.
• Not allergic to pets, as there is a cat in the home.
• Professional experience working waking night shifts.

Scope: 1 position as a parental leave substitute for approx. 86% for at least one year.

Start date: Immediately. Interviews are held continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To work as a personal assistant, guide, or substitute for us, you must be at least 18 years old. This age requirement follows the rules regarding personal assistance, guidance, and substitution in the LSS Act and the Social Services Act.

To work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extracts are ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
