About the Assignment

The role involves a calm pace, structure, and community, where the relationship between the client and the assistant is central. The man appreciates the small golden moments of everyday life and enjoys activities that bring both joy and security. It is important to understand and follow established routines and to be a good communicator towards colleagues and the client.

He particularly enjoys:

• Water and swimming
• Singing and music
• Excursions
• Cooking from scratch
• Stretching and KP training

About the Work

As a personal assistant, you are an important support in daily life, both practically and socially. The work is largely performed with double staffing, which provides security and opportunities for good collaboration. There is ample room to build a positive working relationship and feel pride in the work you do. For many, this becomes more than just a job. It is a role that provides life experience, perspective, and a sense of contributing in a way that few other professions can offer.

The assignment includes among other things:

• Swimming pool visits approx. 6 times per week
• Accompanying assistance to day activities
• Varying working hours:
  • 06:00–14:00
  • 13:30–21:00
  • 24-hour shifts 14:00–14:00 (with waiting time)
• Support in daily tasks requiring some physical ability
• Consideration for allergies (eggs and gluten)

We are looking for someone who:

• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently
• Is reliable, punctual, and cooperative
• Has experience with epilepsy (and practical experience during epileptic seizures)
• Has a calm, empathetic, and respectful approach
• Has sufficient physical strength to assist in certain tasks
• Thrives in a job where relationship and continuity are important

There is some manual lifting involved, so it is important to have good physical fitness (therefore, we prefer male applicants). You do not need to be a strong swimmer, but you should not be afraid of water as some training moments take place in the pool. Some understanding of cooking from scratch is also required.
