Personal assistance is about giving someone the opportunity to live their life on their own terms – and you will be a key part in making that possible for us. The work involves providing support in daily life, for example with home and household, personal hygiene, and everything else that makes up a completely normal life.

About Us

We are two brothers, aged 25–30, with significant disabilities. With the right assistance, we can live the life we want – full of both activity and quiet moments.

During the week, we live in an apartment in Annedal, Bromma, together with our two cats. Sometimes two small, cute dogs stay with us as well, so it is important that you are not allergic. If you like animals, that is a big plus!

About the Position – with a Summer in Flen

During the summer, we move to our country house in Flen. Here, you as an assistant will have the opportunity to work a bit differently:

• Work longer and more continuous shifts over a few days.
• Followed by more continuous time off.
• Enjoy a rural environment with a calmer pace and variation in daily life.

Some weeks we return to Annedal to see friends and participate in day activities, which provides a nice variation between city and country life.

The position is full-time (but can be part-time with the possibility of extra shifts if the right person desires). You will work day/afternoon/evening OR awake night. If you work day/evening, you will alternate between both of us, which provides variation in both pace and tasks.

If you wish to work awake nights, only one of us has this in their decision.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who wants a long-term assignment and values relationship, quality, and responsibility.

• Quick both physically and mentally.
• Interested in development and learning new things.

You need to speak and write Swedish without difficulty, as the work may also involve support with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and PECS. Experience is meritorious but not a requirement. Your attitude towards the profession of personal assistant is what matters!
