We are now looking for a personal assistant on an as-needed basis for a woman in Stockholm, Sundbyberg. We are looking for you with a strong commitment to working with people with disabilities.

Our client needs help with most aspects of daily life, such as nursing care and personal hygiene, as well as assistance with mobility during all activities in and outside the home. The client also has limitations in verbal communication, which requires patience and allowing the client time to express themselves. A ceiling lift is available in the home.

As an assistant, you are the client's extended arm in everyday life.

Working hours: The assignment covers working hours from 12:30 to 07:45 (including waiting time at night), but you can also work daytime hours from 07:15 to 13:10. The position involves evening work, weekends, and weekdays.

Requirements and preferences:

• We are only accepting female applicants for this assignment.
• Experience in nursing care is preferred.
• The client moves around using a wheelchair.
• You must have unrestricted proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Your responsibilities:

• Individualized nursing care and household chores.
• The assistance is primarily provided in the client's home, but also during outdoor activities.
• You work in a supportive and motivating manner.
• Training is provided on-site by family members as well as through Monument Assistans.

A family member of the client is involved in the selection process and will have access to the applications. Monument Assistans always requires an extract from the criminal record register before employment.
