Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who fits the following:

• Wish to work with a playful 3-year-old boy living in Älta

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Have good physical fitness to perform heavier lifts

• Are smoke-free and perfume-free during working hours

• Tolerate pets (cat)

• Sensitive to needs and balances activities

The following are also meritorious:

• Have experience in similar work

• Have medical knowledge

• Are playful and have a childlike spirit, take initiative for activities

• Have experience with tube feeding, food, and drink

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary:

We are now looking for two personal assistants who can work extra when needed, during the absence and vacation of regular staff. The current form of employment is "hourly employment".

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Day: 07:00-14:30 Afternoon/evening: 16:00-22:00 Night (active night): 22:00-07:00

Salary:

Fixed hourly rate according to agreement and other benefits occur according to collective agreement.

Start date:

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work within Sweden. To be able to work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
