About me:
I am a 12-year-old active girl. I thrive best when I am part of things that are happening. I spend my weekdays at school, where I also have training on some days. In my free time, I participate in various types of Paralympic sports, go to the swimming pool, or take trips with my family.

About you:
As my assistant, it is important that you view the work with me as long-term, as it takes time to get to know me and my signals. I want you to have a positive outlook on life, be creative, and flexible. Since I do not have spoken language, it is also crucial that you are proactive and speak and write Swedish fluently.
I appreciate that you are calm and confident in yourself, as I sometimes need a safe embrace. It would be great if you also possess great patience, engagement, and are attentive. If you are also female and a non-smoker, that is a big plus.

If you have previous experience with tube feeding/gastrostomy button and feeding pump, this is an advantage.

Staffing:
This position includes an extended (and compensated) staffing assignment, which means that during certain weeks you must be reachable at times other than working hours to either call in a substitute or step in yourself to assist when intervention is required. This is Assistans i Balans' way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The assignment is shared by all assistants working according to a regular schedule.

The Position:
The position is 75% and primarily covers evenings and awake nights. Other times may occur as the position includes stepping in extra during urgent vacancies.
