Your role as vehicle driver and construction worker

Svevia is now looking for a road and construction worker for our operations within Division Operations in Gällivare. Here you become part of an engaged team working on smaller construction projects and operation-related assignments.

In this role, you work with varied earthworks and construction tasks. You perform tasks such as excavation, drainage, and foundation work, as well as repair and maintenance of roads and street environments. The work may also involve ditches and culvert replacements, as well as installation and maintenance of guardrails, signs, and other roadside equipment. You handle simpler machinery as needed and participate in various operational assignments that support daily activities in the area.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a daily routine with varied tasks, enjoys practical work, and wants to contribute to safe roads and sustainable infrastructure in the region.

Who are you?

For this role, you must have a machine operator's license for wheel loaders, as the work involves recurring machine handling in our construction assignments. Experience in operations and earthworks is meritorious.

To thrive in this role, you need to be a flexible person who appreciates varied work and is willing to step up where needed. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and suitability for the position.

The position includes on-call duties, which means you must be prepared to work inconvenient hours during certain periods.
