As a Project Engineer with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at NCC, you will take on a role with great trust and clear requirements. You will work closely with operations in an environment where safety and a responsible approach are crucial. This role suits you if you want to take responsibility, work methodically, and contribute to handling OHS issues correctly from the start in an environment where people's safety is always the focus.

About Building Norrland

We build and renovate both commercial and public buildings as well as residential properties throughout Norrland, from Sundsvall in the south to Luleå in the north. The department consists of approximately 200 dedicated employees, both white-collar and blue-collar workers, who together drive projects forward with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions.

About the Project Engineer OHS Role

In the role of Project Engineer for Occupational Health and Safety, you will focus on OHS within the project. You will work closely with site management and will also support our quality and environmental coordinators on certain OHS-related issues within the project.

This is a standalone role for someone who wants to combine administrative OHS work with close collaboration in production. You will plan and follow up on OHS work, handle risk assessments, training, and reporting, as well as update documentation during changes. You lead safety rounds, maintain close dialogue with tradespeople, and ensure that the OHS plan is followed through daily checks and follow-up of deviations.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience as a Project Engineer, Site Manager, or a similar role with a focus on OHS. You are confident in your professional role and accustomed to working independently with follow-up, compliance, and structure to ensure a safe working environment in the project.

The role requires a mature and methodical approach. You thrive in an environment where quality, precision, and integrity are central. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and confident in identifying and raising OHS risks. You have good administrative skills and work carefully from start to finish. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
