Your Role
As Group Manager for the Excavation Service Department, you have a central and operational role where you are responsible for workforce leadership as well as parts of the planning and preparation of work related to the maintenance of excavators. You lead a shift-working team and work closely with operations on both strategic and daily issues. You are responsible for ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time, and that the work is planned and followed up in an efficient manner.
As a group manager, recruitment, development, and rehabilitation are essential parts. Special focus is placed on creating the best conditions for employees' health, environment, and safety. Administrative tasks within economy, personnel, and management systems are also included.
Your Team
You lead a group of shift-working mechanics who work with the maintenance and service of excavators.
The team works around the clock in shifts. As a group manager, you work daytime hours. The role involves many contact points, both internally and externally, where you collaborate with the mine, maintenance, and suppliers.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:
- Plan and prepare preventive maintenance
- Ensure access and inventory management of wear parts
- Work with forecasts and follow-up of material needs
- Handle orders and supplier contacts
- Drive improvement work and follow up and optimize working methods
- Lead and develop the team in daily work
- Work closely with operations both administratively and in the field
Your Contribution
We are looking for you who are a present and clear leader, with good collaboration skills and who finds it easy to build relationships. You work in a structured manner and contribute to order and clarity in operations. Furthermore, you are engaged, have the ability to motivate your team, and can prioritize work in an efficient way to drive operations forward. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
Requirements:
- Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus
- Experience in maintenance work, preferably from industry
- Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Good administrative skills and computer literacy
- At least a B-driver's license
Leadership experience and knowledge of Maximo are meritorious.
