About the Role

As a construction engineer within industrial piping, you will play a central role in the business. You will have a broad scope of work and be responsible for, among other things, calculating and submitting bids for requests we agree upon within the department and the company. With responsibility for evaluating and following up on calculations as well as monitoring project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You also actively search for new projects to bid on. As a construction engineer, you work closely with the Marketing Manager, Site Manager, and other colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

• Customer and supplier visits
• Organize and administer bid and quotation processes
• Create calculations and prepare documentation for bids
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs
• Monitor the market for interesting opportunities
• Plan and prepare for project start together with the project team
• Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
• Review and approve supplier invoices
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with procurement and contract matters

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university degree in a relevant field, or has acquired equivalent knowledge through longer professional experience
• We prefer that you have experience driving projects within industrial piping or held similar roles previously
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English. Proficiency in Finnish is considered an asset.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Has good computer skills (Office suite)
• Focuses on the good business deal
