About the Role

As a construction engineer within industrial piping, you will play a central role in our operations. You will work broadly and be responsible for, among other things, calculating and submitting bids for inquiries agreed upon within the department and the company. With responsibility for evaluating and following up on calculations as well as monitoring project progress, you ensure that we deliver according to the requirements specified in the contract. You will also actively seek out new projects to bid on. As a construction engineer, you will work closely with the Marketing Director, Site Manager, and other colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

• Customer and supplier visits
• Organize and administer bid and quotation processes
• Prepare calculations and create documentation for bids
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs
• Monitor the market for interesting opportunities
• Plan and prepare for project start together with the project team
• Work closely with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
• Review and approve supplier invoices
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with procurement and contract matters

Who We Are Looking For

• University education in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge gained through longer professional experience
• We prefer that you have experience driving projects within industrial piping or held similar roles previously
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Proficiency in Finnish is considered an asset.
• Valid B-class driver's license
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
• Focus on achieving good business results
