Information about the position

Professionals Nord is recruiting on behalf of AFRY for a Senior Construction Project Manager. The assignment is part of our personnel rental service. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for AFRY for a period of 12 months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by them, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for leading and driving construction projects within the industry. You play a central role in the implementation of projects and work closely with customers, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and drive construction projects through all project phases
• Responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementation of projects regarding time, quality, and economy
• Coordinate and lead the dialogue between clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Work commercially by developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the continued development of the business

We are looking for you who

We believe that your personal qualities are crucial for how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are looking for you who have solid experience in construction project management within the industry and who enjoy leading complex projects and teams. You have at least a university degree in engineering or equivalent, as well as broad experience from the construction industry. We would like you to have previously worked as a project manager, contractor, consultant, BAS-P/BAS-U, client, or in a similar role. You have good market knowledge, a strong network, and are motivated by developing both business and operations.

As a person, you are driven, engaged, and have a natural ability to create trust. You are receptive, diplomatic, and enjoy collaborating while having a clear focus on results. You are commercially minded, communicative, and understand the importance of the consultant role in the customer relationship. The role involves travel as needed, which means you are flexible and enjoy working in different locations during periods.
