Job Description
As a benefits caseworker, you work with authority matters according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The target group is primarily elderly persons, but you also meet people under 65 years of age. You are responsible for the entire case processing process from application and investigation to decision, follow-up, and documentation.
The work is based on current legislation, guidelines, and knowledge support, where the individual's needs and resources are always at the center. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to safe and secure care transitions after hospital stays and to collaborate closely with both internal and external actors. The role involves many contacts, so it is significant that you enjoy collaborating and building good relationships.
The work requires flexibility and the ability to adapt when conditions change, as well as the ability to switch between different tasks. To thrive in the role, you need to work systematically and take responsibility for independently planning and prioritizing your work. A professional and respectful approach to the people we meet is obvious, as is a supportive and helpful attitude towards colleagues. With us, you work independently but also in close collaboration with your colleagues and your manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have a good ability to investigate, analyze, and make well-founded decisions and work in a structured and legally secure manner. A professional and respectful approach is a natural part of your working style.
You thrive in a role where you need to handle several tasks in parallel and find it easy to prioritize and organize your work when conditions change. You are engaged, driven, and have a genuine interest in social work, the target group, and people's life situations.
We would appreciate it if you have experience with authority matters within elderly care, good knowledge of case processing and documentation, and previous experience working with the investigation methodology "Individual Needs at the Center" (IBIC).
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
