Your responsibilities

We are looking for a preschool teacher for Växthusets preschool.

As a preschool teacher, you will contribute to developing the preschool's pedagogical activities and work with children aged 1–5. You are a preschool teacher who starts from the children's interests, experiences, needs, and opinions. You have the ability to motivate and inspire the children by creating contexts and learning environments where their curiosity and desire to learn are awakened. By utilizing the children's interests, you help them feel they have influence and participation in their own learning.

Together with your colleagues in the work team, you plan, follow up, document, analyze, and evaluate the activities systematically and continuously so that they develop in accordance with the goals of the curriculum and the preschool's guiding documents.

You are employed at the preschool, which means you may potentially work at another section in the future.

Your qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must currently hold a permanent position as a licensed preschool teacher within the Child and Youth Administration in Halmstad Municipality.

You find it easy to work together with others and take responsibility for both your own and shared tasks. You can also work independently, are clear, decisive, receptive, and able to adapt to the children's needs. You work calmly and systematically with low-affective handling and have a positive and inclusive approach. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the role.
