RESPONSIBILITIES

As responsible for the agency's work with internal control, you have an agency-wide responsibility to develop, coordinate, and quality-assure our risk management process along with associated controlling and supporting documents. You create conditions for the work to be conducted in a structured, methodical, and compliant with current regulations. You lead the coordination within the agency regarding the work with internal control.

You function as a methodological support to the organization, compile the overall risk picture, and serve as a strategic support to the agency management.

The position is located in the newly formed unit "Business Control and Internal Control," whose main task is to achieve integrated management and control within the agency that promotes administrative culture. The position involves close collaboration with managers, risk coordinators, data coordinators, security/security protection/information security responsible persons, legal counsel, and internal audit.

In this role, there is an opportunity to both develop the role and contribute to developing the team and the newly formed unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in, for example, economics, law, political science, or equivalent considered equal. You also have several years of experience in working with internal management and control as well as experience in risk analysis and risk assessment.

To fit the role, it is required that you have good analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into practical measures.

We consider it advantageous if you have experience from the public sector, from working closely with the management group, and have knowledge of established frameworks for risk management and internal control (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO 31000, ISO37301).

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and see that you have the ability to drive change, are pedagogical, responsible, and self-initiating. You have the ability to combine a holistic perspective with detailed understanding and can translate complex issues into clear decision support. Furthermore, you are outgoing and receptive and have good communication skills in speech and writing. In the role, you have your own areas of responsibility and therefore need to be able to work independently but also have the ability to collaborate and see your part in a team. You also have the ability to plan and organize your work and are meticulous.

The position is security-classified, which means you must be a Swedish citizen and a security check with register control and security interview will be conducted before employment.

Location is possible at the Land Surveying Authority's offices in Stockholm, Uppsala, or Gävle. However, your geographical stationing must enable regular presence at all three locations.
