NSVA is now looking for a Contract Controller to join their purchasing team – a key role for you who wants to work close to operations and contribute to developing supplier collaborations, processes, and working methods in a socially important organization.

Clean water is a given for most – but behind every drop are people who make a difference every day.
At NSVA, we work to ensure that residents in our owner municipalities have access to clean drinking water and sustainable wastewater management. With high competence, great responsibility, and close collaboration, we are developing tomorrow's water and wastewater services. We are approximately 260 employees who together contribute to a socially important operation where every role plays a vital part.
About the role
As a Contract Controller, you will have a central role in NSVA’s purchasing function. You will be responsible for developing and following up on contracts and supplier collaborations, while working closely with operations, contract owners, and suppliers to ensure contracts are adhered to and create value. We are looking for someone who wants to combine analysis and follow-up with active development work in contract management, supplier follow-up, and purchasing.
You will become an important part of the ongoing work to strengthen and develop the purchasing function. You need to thrive in a changing environment where development is ongoing and new working methods are gradually being shaped together with colleagues. The position is located in Helsingborg. You will be part of NSVA’s purchasing function together with four colleagues and report to the Purchasing Manager.
In the role, you will among other things:
- plan, conduct, and develop supplier and contract follow-ups
- follow up on prices, invoices, and contract terms, as well as analyze deviations and improvement opportunities
- drive dialogue and collaboration with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- produce statistics, analyses, and decision support materials related to contracts and purchasing
- develop routines, templates, and working methods within contract management and follow-up
- support operations and the purchasing team with contract and procurement-related issues.
Who are you?
We believe you are a person who enjoys creating structure, building relationships, and driving improvements. You are analytical and business-minded and have an easy time seeing connections, but just as importantly, you enjoy collaborating and building trust with both colleagues and suppliers. As a person, you are self-motivated, responsible, and non-hierarchical. You have the patience to drive long-term issues forward while managing many contact points and different questions in parallel.
To succeed in the role, we see that you are:
- structured and meticulous
- communicative and trust-building
- analytical and solution-oriented
- development-focused and driving
- collaborative with a non-hierarchical approach.
We are looking for you who have:
- post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, law, or similar
- experience in contract follow-up, contract management, or supplier management
- good understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and price structures
- experience working with analyses and decision support materials
- good system proficiency and good knowledge of Excel
- good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- valid driver’s license (Category B).
Merits:
- experience from public sector operations
- knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act) or LUF (Public Procurement Regulations)
Why NSVA?
