Responsibilities
Do you want to work with qualified and complex procurements that contribute to the development of one of Sweden's largest public transport operations? Then you could be one of the two senior procurement specialists we are looking for to carry out sustainable and commercial procurements that create value for passengers in Skåne.
In the role of Senior Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for planning, leading, and executing procurements and purchases of varying scope and complexity. You drive the entire procurement process, from needs analysis and selection of procurement strategy to the preparation of documentation, evaluation of bids, and potential negotiations. Through your work, you ensure that procurements are conducted commercially and in accordance with current legislation, internal guidelines, and established policies.
The role is central to the collaboration between the Procurement Unit, the business operations, and external suppliers, where you switch between being a project manager and a coordinator. To succeed, you need to build a good understanding of the business's goals and commercial prerequisites and translate these into relevant requirements, business models, and strategies. With your expertise, you contribute qualified support in procurement and business matters while also participating in the development of business and contract forms, procurement strategies, and working methods.
With your experience, you are a role model and driving force for commercial, sustainable, and ethically responsible business. Environmental scanning within the procurement area, participation in relevant networks, and an active contribution to the continued development of the procurement function are also part of the assignment.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university degree in economics, logistics/purchasing, law, or engineering. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge in strategic purchasing or procurement through other education combined with relevant work experience. Furthermore, you have several years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within the public sector and have independently driven complex procurements, negotiations, and qualified purchasing processes. You have good knowledge of public procurement according to LOU and LUF (Swedish Public Procurement Acts) as well as a good understanding of the legal aspects within the field. Additionally, you express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, have experience with market procurement tools, and are a proficient user of MS Office. It is highly meritorious if you have experience in project management in complex contexts. Experience from the public transport industry is also seen as a valuable asset in the role.
You are analytical, structured, and communicative with a strong commitment and a high sense of responsibility. With good ability to plan and drive your work forward, you work independently and goal-oriented. The role is characterized by periods of high tempo, which requires that you can reprioritize, handle multiple parallel tasks, and adjust focus based on business needs.
To succeed in the role, you need to have strong personal drive and the ability to translate ideas and assignments into concrete results. You are confident in requirement setting and negotiation and have an easy time explaining complex issues in a clear and pedagogical way.
The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with different functions, both internally and externally. Therefore, we value your ability to build, develop, and long-term manage good relationships. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
