Job Description:

We are currently looking for an engaged and reliable personal assistant for a lovely 15-year-old boy with autism. The role involves being a support in his daily life and creating conditions for a meaningful and predictable existence. The client lives with his family at home and needs help with daily routines, personal hygiene, activities, and social interaction. Since outbursts of behavior can occur, it is important that you can act calmly, steadily, and with great patience in stressful situations. It is also important that you are physically strong, as the work can sometimes be physically demanding. The client is non-verbal but communicates through clear signals and can show what he wants and needs.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities – We are looking for you who

• Are calm, receptive, and confident in yourself.
• Have experience with neuropsychiatric functional variations, preferably autism.
• Have knowledge of or experience with low-affective approach – advantageous.
• Are responsible, flexible, and can work both independently and in consultation with relatives.
• Have good Swedish skills in speech and writing.
• Are interested in a long-term assignment as structure, routines, and continuity are important for the client.

Other Information

• Employment type: Employment based on need, initially hourly, with possible opportunity for a fixed-term contract later.
• Scope: Part-time.
• Working hours: 06:00–07:30, 14:15–18:00, 13:15–18:00, 10:00–18:00. Hours may vary during holidays.
• Start date: By agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
