About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

Our client is a 16-year-old girl who goes to school, hangs out with friends, and has her own leisure interests. She has a congenital muscle disease that requires her to have personal assistance around the clock. She is a lively, creative, and positive girl who knows what she wants and is good at guiding her assistants in the right direction. We are now looking for a fun and engaged person who wants to help her with what she wants and needs in her daily life.

Who are you?

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Valid Category B driver's license

• Non-smoker during working hours

• Tolerant to pets (cat lives in the home)

Merits for the position:

• Experience in personal assistance or other care professions

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on demand with varying working hours during the day, evening, and night, on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
