HR Strategist at Svalöv Municipality
Svalöv Municipality – strategically located within the Helsingborg Family – offers proximity, optimism, and a favorable climate for work and life. Good communications make it easy to commute for work. Approximately 14,500 residents live here.
The Municipal Executive Office consists of finance, HR, and the secretariat, which are cross-functional support services. Together, the sector works to create secure, efficient, and future-oriented operations. At the HR Unit, we work across the group with both operational and strategic HR processes to strengthen our employer brand. We are a team of five HR strategists and one bargaining officer who, together with the HR Manager, are now looking for new colleagues! We are centrally located in Svalöv Municipality House and collaborate closely with the municipality's staffing unit.
We are now looking for two new colleagues, one for a permanent position and one for a longer temporary assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of HR Strategist, you will work within a broad field of HR issues, both operationally and strategically.
Operationally, you will support managers within dedicated business areas in a consultative manner regarding labor law, cooperation, work environment, rehabilitation, recruitment, and other matters included in the managers' daily work.
Strategically, your initial assignment will be directed towards digitalization processes where you will have the opportunity to lead various initiatives to facilitate our managers in their roles. This will primarily concern our own managers in the group, but you will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues within the Helsingborg Family. As you grow in your role, you will have the opportunity to explore other strategic areas based on competence and interest.
The entire HR Unit works together to create good processes, from start to finish. This means you will also be part of the team's work on developing internal policy documents and their political preparation. Together, we take responsibility for the delivery and goal achievement of our own unit, the department, and the operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have an openness and understanding of how digitalization can streamline HR processes and contribute to business development. You use generative AI and AI functions in business systems and collaboration platforms as a natural part of your work, and you have an interest in and explore how new technology can be used in work and have a good understanding of the competence shift that technical solutions entail.
With the courage to challenge established ways of working and try new things, you translate business needs into concrete HR initiatives. You have a holistic view and the ability to see connections in your work. You work proactively with your insights and maintain good structure and clear, pedagogical communication towards the managers you support.
Formally, you have an academic degree in the HR field or other education that we assess as relevant for the position. You have experience in interpreting collective agreements and applying labor legislation, as well as experience in HR analysis and working with KPIs/key figures. It is meritorious if you have experience working in municipal operations or experience in digitalization and development of HR processes. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish is a prerequisite for the position. Since travel occurs both within and outside the Svalöv municipality border, a driver's license is also required.
