About the Department

The Secretariat Unit is part of the Child and Adolescent Health Centre in Sundsvall. We run an exciting and broad operation featuring emergency care, day care, telephone advice, nurse-led clinics, and doctor's clinics. We see patients with both acute illnesses and chronic conditions, and we handle investigations based on referrals from, for example, primary care.

The County Operations for Child and Adolescent Medicine are located in Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. In Sundsvall, in addition to the Child and Adolescent Health Centre, we also have Ward 44 for Children and Adolescents, Ward 45 for Newborns, Play Therapy, and the Medical Unit.

We will have a continued need during the autumn to reduce our dictation backlog, which is why we are now looking for a Medical Secretary for our operations. The position is a full-time temporary assignment until May 2027. Start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Medical Secretary, dictation writing in Cosmic is included, which we prioritize. The work may also include:

• Mail handling
• Referral handling
• Standard tasks for a medical secretary

At our center, you work Monday to Friday, approx. 07:30–16:30. Once you are trained and working independently, there is an opportunity to work remotely one day a week.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have education as a medical secretary
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with the medical record system Cosmic
• Have previous work experience with dictation writing
