Do you want to combine law, economics, and technology in a socially important role? As a Subscriber Handler at us, you will become a key person in the work with water and wastewater tariffs, billing, and subscriber issues.

A Part of Something Bigger

Västvatten is a company with great ambitions and much energy – and in an industry in constant development. We are just over 125 employees, ensuring that the shared water and wastewater systems work in the best possible way in Färgelanda, Munkedal, Sotenäs, and Uddevalla. One of society's most important missions.

Responsible and Varied Work

As one of our Subscriber Handlers, you will belong to the Economics and Administration department. Here, we are ten people working with economic and subscriber issues at the headquarters in Uddevalla.

You are a central part of the connection process and work with handling various subscriber cases. This includes, among other things, new connections to the municipal water and wastewater network, changed water and wastewater conditions, calculation of infrastructure fees, questions and investigations regarding billing and tariffs for both new and existing subscribers.

The work involves interpreting and applying legislation, primarily the Act on General Water and Wastewater Services (LAV), as well as answering questions from property owners and colleagues regarding water and wastewater tariffs and connection processes. As a Subscriber Handler, you have several processes running in parallel and must be able to compile these into a whole.

You formulate various types of letters and agreements, as well as being a support in legal matters for other employees. You also prepare proposals for tariff texts and fee calculations. Above all, it is important that you enjoy customer contact and have the ability to build trust, both internally and externally.

Driven and Structured

We are looking for you who are driven, take initiative, seek out and analyze information, for example existing contracts, municipal council decisions, or legislation. Order and structure are your thing, and you can prioritize and plan your work. You are unpretentious and thrive in close collaboration, where you lift both yourself and your colleagues to develop and develop the business – together we become better.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

  • Good knowledge within water and wastewater (VA) as well as general knowledge of VA legislation and VA tariffs, and the ability to apply these in practice.
  • Relevant education such as VA engineer, economics, law, urban planning, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in administrative work and customer contact.
  • Experience in maintaining legal/decided documents and calculation basis.
  • Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
  • Category B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

  • work within VA operations or other municipal administration.
  • the billing system EDP Future.
  • the map system VA-banken.
  • system administration.

Welcome to apply!

We will start interviews in early August, but do not wait with your application – the position may be filled before the final application date.

In light of GDPR, we ask you to exclude the last four digits of your personal identity number as well as any reference contacts in your application and CV.
