Are you skilled in project management and have a background in electrical engineering? The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration's Headquarters is now looking for an INFRA Case Manager with a focus on Electricity who wants to contribute to developing and structuring work within Property Management, including electrical systems. The role involves coordinating issues, developing working methods, and supporting operations in a fast-paced environment where structure, collaboration, and pedagogical skills are important. We welcome your application!
About the Unit
The HQ Staff, which includes the Property Section, is responsible for the Headquarters' rented premises and properties on Gärdet in Stockholm in collaboration with the Fortification Administration. The work is partly carried out according to the Swedish Defence Forces' INFRA process in close cooperation with the Fortification Administration and the Central Local Planning Unit. Examples of areas of responsibility within the section include property management, electricity, fire, fault reporting, furniture, relocations, operations, and local and operational adaptations.
Main Responsibilities
As an INFRA Case Manager with a focus on electricity, you will become part of an authority in strong growth and work together with competent and engaged colleagues.
The role covers both ongoing property and local cases as well as long-term development and investment projects. You have many contact surfaces, both within the Headquarters and with external actors such as contractors, landlords, and property owners.
You represent the section in project groups and independently drive projects as an operational or tenant representative. The work also includes investigating, preparing, and reviewing materials, as well as contributing with analyses and decision support. The role places high demands on structure, prioritization skills, and good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
You will work closely with the section's electrical safety case manager, where areas of responsibility are distributed based on competence and experience. In addition to the electricity area, there is an opportunity to work with issues within operational cooling. Since the section handles all INFRA cases, you will also contribute within the entire property section's area of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in construction or property, or alternatively other experience that the employer considers equivalent
- Current and relevant work experience in the construction and property sector, for example within management or tenant contact (e.g., as a technical manager, operations technician, tenant coordinator, facility manager, local or property manager, or another equivalent role)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who is structured, driven, and resilient, and who thrives in a role with both administrative tasks and coordination. You are unpretentious and happy to share your knowledge with others. The role requires you to be pedagogical and able to explain complex issues clearly, adapted to different target groups and knowledge levels. You work independently but also enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to an open and supportive work climate, even at times with a high tempo.
Great importance will be attached to personal attributes.
MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a client role/work as a specifier in construction & property
- Experience of working with and developing processes and workflows as well as implementing routines in operations
