Försvarshälsan (Military Health Care) is now recruiting a doctor with specialist training relevant to the assignment for a permanent position.
About Försvarshälsan
Försvarshälsan Revingehed provides occupational health services for our approximately 1,000 employees and primary-level health and medical care for conscripts, while also serving as advisors to the regiment on medical matters.
At Försvarshälsan Revingehed, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists/ergonomists, medical secretaries, and psychologists work together in a joint team. In addition to medical competencies, there is support from an occupational health and safety engineer. At Försvarshälsan, which currently consists of 15 employees, a planning officer also works.
Main Responsibilities:
- Medical examinations and treatment of recruits at the primary care level.
- Medical checks and military fitness assessments.
- Rehabilitative measures (multi-party meetings with manager and employee, responsibility for alcohol and/or drug investigations, etc.)
- Train and conduct advisory measures at individual and group levels.
Documentation is carried out in the Swedish Armed Forces' joint digital patient record system (CGM J4).
Qualifications
To be considered for the selection process for this position, you must:
- Hold specialist training in general medicine or another specialist competence that the employer deems equivalent.
- Have at least three years of clinical experience within your specialist field.
- Hold a Category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
Meritorious Qualifications:
- Specialization in occupational medicine.
- Reserve officer.
- Completed international military operation.
- Completed military basic training.
- Experience in medical leadership tasks.
- Experience from working with healthcare internationally (e.g., Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, etc.).
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who is unpretentious and confident in their professional role. You must have the willingness and ability to work in a team with other professional categories and in close collaboration with fellow doctors. The tasks are diverse and challenging, requiring the ability to work both structured and flexibly when facing new assignments, as well as knowledge of governing legislation and regulations. To handle sudden tasks, you need a good professional compass and confidence in your role, both within the team and as a medical advisor. This dynamic workplace places high demands on cooperation, initiative, and communication skills. There is a need for the willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new tasks.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.
Other Information
Employment Type: Permanent position. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed within the agency.
Employment Level: Full-time
Salary: Individual salary placement based on the Swedish Armed Forces' salary framework.
Start Date: By agreement.
Work Location: Revingehed
Wellness in the form of 3 hours of exercise per week during working hours is included as a work task in all employment positions within the Swedish Armed Forces.

The Southern Scania Regiment (P 7) is located approximately 20 kilometers east of Lund. The regiment's main task is to produce and maintain combat units for the Army. Additionally, we have the task of establishing and staffing LNLV (Battalion to NATO's Multinational Brigade in Latvia) – an annual recurring task with approximately 550 professional officers, soldiers, and civilians. The unit trains between 300–500 conscripts annually in ground combat. Our main weapon systems and vehicles consist of the Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 90, and Pansarterrängbil 360. At P 7, there is both continuously and temporarily serving personnel.

An employment with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
