The Medical Emergency Care Department is an inpatient ward characterized by a faster patient flow. Here, we primarily treat medical patients with an expected short length of stay, as well as patients who need to be transferred to another ward for specialist care or longer stays. We treat and care for patients across the entire spectrum of internal medicine, including infections, heart problems, diabetes complications, electrolyte imbalances, and intoxications. The broad patient base gives you excellent opportunities to develop both your medical competence and your nursing skills in a dynamic and educational work environment.

Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northern and eastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the proximity and community feel of a smaller one.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Medical Emergency Care Department, you work with inpatients. Here, you will gain broad competence within the entire acute medical field and have the opportunity to be involved in the development of care and the department. In this role, you are offered a great opportunity to develop in several areas simultaneously and strengthen your role as a nurse.

We are looking for you who can work varying shifts, which means days, evenings, and nights.

QUALIFICATIONS

We now welcome you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. If you have experience from emergency care/hospital care, this is considered meritorious. The same applies to experience with telemetry monitoring and other medical equipment, as well as the care systems Melior and PASiS.
