Our Mission

Our mission is assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with psychotic disorders. Care interventions are tailored to the patient's needs and the individual care plan. Treatment aims to support the individual in maintaining and/or regaining their functional capacity in various areas of life; personal care, housing, work/studies, and leisure. An important part of the treatment involves psycho-educational and psychosocial treatment methods in groups or individually. We view relatives as a very valuable and natural part of the treatment and offer support to relatives in various ways.

Attached to the Adult Psychiatry Clinic for Psychosis is a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) team that works with the entire family/network. We work according to the F-ACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) model. Each patient has a designated care contact who, together with the patient, creates an individual treatment plan. A key part of the work involves collaboration with municipalities and neighboring care providers.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for 2 positions.

As a nurse, you will have a varied and exciting job where the patient is at the center. We offer an engaging and exciting work environment with colleagues who have extensive experience in psychosis care. You will receive a developing job, both professionally and personally, where development opportunities and direction are guided by the needs of our patients and their relatives.

You are responsible for the nursing care of the patients to whom you are the designated care contact and participate in medication, assessment, planning, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and documentation in our medical record systems. For some patients, you are the responsible nurse and collaborate with the designated care contact. At our clinic, we work in a cross-professional manner where we plan with the team the interventions that patients need. We work both at the clinic and make home visits.

As a new employee, we offer you an adapted introduction and shadowing based on your needs. You will also receive a mentor for six months.

Working hours are weekdays 08:00–16:30 with a flexible agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Additionally, you have a valid B-driver's license. If you also have specialist training in psychiatry, we view this as a positive attribute. We would like you to have experience working in psychiatry, but we also welcome you with experience from other operations with a great interest in psychiatry.

We are looking for you who are structured and plan your work, while also having the ability to look up and see the whole picture of the operations.
