In our development according to the benefit reform, we see a need for your specific competence as an Occupational Therapist.

As an occupational therapist, you work on assessing work capacity based on the individual's overall situation and increasing the resident's insight into their work prerequisites. You conduct mappings, observations, activity and function assessments, and document the process. You also work on identifying assistive devices that enable the participant to move forward in work or studies.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing work and activity capacity as well as the need for adjustments
• Identifying the need for assistive devices that help the participant towards work and studies
• Working with standardized occupational therapy instruments such as AWC, AWP, AWP-FK, WEIS, WRI, the theory Model of Human Occupation, and others
• Enjoy working outdoors and in a changing environment
• Work closely with the labor market coaches regarding the participant
• Collaborate with healthcare, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, financial assistance, adult education, etc., as needed
• Develop activities related to assessing work capacity
• Develop joint working methods to increase residents' work capacity and/or map their work capacity

As we work across unit boundaries to achieve our goals, this means that you may need to perform your work in other parts of our organization during certain periods.

Your main working hours will be spent at the employer's premises where the participants are located.

Your workplace will be at the Labor Market Unit.

The position is a project employment starting from 2026-09-14 until 2027-12-31.

Who are you?

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Experience in conducting work capacity assessments
• Experience working with individuals who are further from the labor market, such as those receiving financial assistance
• Driver's License Category B

It is meritorious if you also:

• Have knowledge of and training in Supported Employment
• Have good knowledge of the mandates and regulations of relevant authorities

Interviews are scheduled for week 31.

Hässleholm Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to current agreements.

About Us

The Labor Market Administration is responsible for financial assistance, labor market political measures, and the municipality's adult education. We work strategically with measures that meet the needs of residents and the labor market. The administration's overarching main task is to coordinate processes to contribute to more individuals achieving sustainable self-support. The administration includes Financial Assistance, the Labor Market Unit, Komvux (Adult Education), and the Southern Sweden University of Applied Sciences.

The Labor Market Unit is responsible for the municipality's labor market political measures. Our overarching task is to help job-seeking residents get jobs through various preparations, coaching, and job trials. We focus on those who are far from the labor market and constantly work on method and organizational development. Our goal is to tailor different solutions so that our participants can move on to studies or work as quickly as possible.
