The Hospital in Trelleborg is a small hospital with a big heart. It is a personal hospital with great opportunities and approximately 500 employees. We provide specialized basic healthcare for a catchment area of 100,000 inhabitants. Here, we want to put employees first. At the eye clinic, we are approximately 15 employees consisting of ophthalmologists, optometrists, orthoptists, eye nurses, general nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Together, we work to provide our patients with high-quality eye care. Our partners include health centers, opticians, Skåne University Hospital (SUS) in Malmö/Lund, and consultations for other hospital activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a colleague for a temporary position until 2027-07-31 to us in Trelleborg!

As a nurse, you have varied tasks which include, among other things, performing preliminary examinations of the patient before the doctor's visit. You perform measurements and examinations such as photography, OCT, refraction, pressure measurement, and visual field testing. Furthermore, the work involves independent clinics within glaucoma and diabetes care, including fundus photography. You are also involved in the development and improvement work of the activity.

Here, there are great opportunities for relevant professional development. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a registered nurse with the authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required for the position. It is meritorious if you have further education as an eye nurse and if you have previous experience working at an eye clinic with similar tasks and/or have relevant training.

As a person, you are secure in your professional role, have good cooperation skills, and work in a solution-focused manner. We see that you have good communicative and empathetic abilities as good treatment towards both patients and colleagues is important to us. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
